When those relationships feel strained, unclear, or disconnected, it can show up as anxiety, overthinking, conflict, or a general sense of feeling stuck. Therapy offers a space to slow down, understand what's happening underneath those patterns, and begin moving toward something different.
I work with individuals, couples, and families above the age of 18, in person or virtually in Washington state.
Many of my clients are navigating multiple stressors, working to improve their relationships, and going through life changes.
At the core of my work is helping people understand what's happening beneath the surface and supporting more connection, both within yourself and your relationships.
What used to feel easy now feels tense or distant.

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine collaboration. I take a strengths-based approach, meaning I don't believe your struggles define you, they're simply one part of your story. I view you as the expert on your life and relationships, while my role is to guide the therapeutic process. Together, we'll identify meaningful goals, create roadmaps to clear barriers, and regularly review your progress along the way.
Clients often describe my style as warm, conversational, enthusiastic, and realistic. I strive to bring my authentic self into the therapy room so you can feel safe doing the same. Grounded in compassion, curiosity, and a touch of humor, we'll explore the "why" behind unhelpful patterns and the "how" of meaningful change. While our work is highly collaborative, I'll also offer direction, challenge, and practical tools when they're needed.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step. My goal is to make the process feel approachable and worthwhile.
In our first few sessions, we'll focus on getting a clear picture of what's bringing you in, including your current challenges, relationships, personal history, and strengths. Just as importantly, we'll spend time building a strong therapeutic relationship. Research consistently shows that the quality of the relationship between therapist and client is one of the strongest predictors of positive outcomes in therapy.
Open, honest communication is an important part of that process. I encourage feedback along the way so we can tailor therapy to your needs and make sure our work together feels fitting.
We'll typically meet weekly to start, then adjust the pace as you make progress and based on your goals.
I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Every person, couple, and family is different, so rather than relying on a single model, I draw from multiple approaches. Together, we'll try different approaches until we find what fits best for you.
My work is primarily informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Theory, Solution-Focused Therapy, Bowen Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy. Regardless of the approach, my goal remains the same: to help you better understand yourself and strengthen your relationships.
Healthy relationships aren't built by avoiding conflict, they're built by understanding it. I primarily draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples understand the patterns that keep them feeling stuck and disconnected. Rather than focusing only on the content of disagreements, we'll identify the emotional cycle happening underneath them and work toward creating new patterns of connection, trust, and security.
Together, we'll explore
From there, we'll work toward creating change that feels meaningful and lasting, not just temporary relief.
I also integrate elements of the Gottman Method (heavily researched), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Bowen Family Systems, allowing us to stay both practical and deeply reflective.

I earned my Master's degree in Couples & Family Therapy from Seattle University and have extensive training working with individuals, couples, and families. You'll be met with a collaborative, strengths-based approach grounded in compassion, curiosity, and a touch of humor as we explore the "why" behind unhelpful patterns and the "how" of meaningful change.
My graduate training and clinical experience is focused on taking a systemic approach to therapy. This means considering how factors like relationships, family, work, school, and culture shape clients' experiences in addition to individual factors. Drawing from multiple therapeutic models, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Bowen Family Systems, I integrate research-supported methods to provide well-rounded, effective support.
